Mid size SUVs begin to introduce models that maybe more for fun with better fuel economy. Chevrolet Tahoe
A large SUV with room to seat 9 passengers and still carry tools and materials. The Chevy Tahoe is well received and available in 2WD or 4WD with a V8 5.3L engine. The Tahoe is praised for its fuel economy compared to other SUVs as well as handling and equipment for a large SUV selling in the mid $30k range. The 4WD drive looses any fuel economy advantage and the cab can be a bit noisy.
